Guitar Breaks TV introduces: Sam Whiting

Sam is an successful session musician, composer and teacher based in the UK, whose guitar playing has appeared on TV and radio around the world.

Born into a family of musicians, Sam was influenced by guitar wizards such as Tom Quayle, Guthrie Govan, John Mayer & Brad Paisley. He graduated from the Academy of Contemporary Music in 2009, where his tutors included Pete Friesen (Alice Cooper), David Kilminster (Roger Waters) and Jamie Humphries (Brian May). He had already toured the UK & Europe and appeared twice at the London Guitar Show.

Sam is actively engaged in the music industry, playing with various artists (Akala, Emma Stevens) and agencies such as ‘Gigz Management’, ‘Fruit Pie Music’ and ‘The Band Boutique’. Sam is also involved in recording and session work, having performed at dozens of studios, including Dean St. Studios and Abbey Road.

Sam is a JamTrackCentral artist, and works alongside the best guitarists in the world to create educational content that reaches audiences across the globe. He has appeared on BBC radio 2, BBC introducing, BBC Wales/Scotland/Lincoln and BFBS Radio, as well as numerous other radio stations around the world.
