  • The workshop in on Sunday 14th December, starting at 2.00pm and finishing around 9.00pm
  • This workshop is for guitarists who are 18 and over.

 

Welcome to the Safe Zone

The Blues Breakthrough Bootcamp is a ‘Safe Guitar’ environment! We are supportive of all, no matter what level you may be at. Guitar Breaks is all about helping you feel comfortable so that everyone brings something positive to the workshop.

​The Blues Breakthrough focuses on a couple of classic artists, learning two key songs and jamming them with live bass guitar, drums and vocals to accompany you. You get the chance to play alongside other guitarists, receiving guidance and advice from Remi and Tim on how to generate those killer tones.

Remi Harris:

From the age of seven Remi has dedicated himself to a life of guitar playing which has taken him from busking on the streets of his local towns to performing at many prestigious venues and events around the world, including Buckingham Palace, Montreal Jazz Festival, BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall with Jamie Cullum, as well as appearing on national radio and television. Remi listens to a diverse range of musical genres including jazz, blues, rock, classical, folk, pop, heavy metal, hop hop and electronic music.

​Some of Remi’s notable performances include: Buckingham Palace, BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall with Jamie Cullum (Televised on BBC 4), Montreal Jazz Festival, Canada, Django Reinhardt Festival, Samois Sur Seine, France.

Tim Daley:

Tim has played Blues for over 40 years in a variety of styles. He has thoroughly studied the greats such as B.B.King and also the playing of guitarists like Hendrix and Clapton to more modern players such as Stevie Ray Vaughan and presently Joe Bonamassa.

Tim is thoroughly versed in theory and has designed a curriculum specific to Blues guitar. He has gained a worldwide following via his Youtube and Patreon platforms and has received significant feedback on the quality of his playing and teaching from these channels. Tim is also a published author.

Tim runs Guitar Breaks workshops in the Midlands.

Blues Breakthrough Bootcamp is on SUNDAY 14th DECEMBER 2025.

A full day of learning and jamming with Remi Harris & Tim Daley. This Blues Bootcamp focuses on two classic tracks from FLEETWOOD MAC & JIMI HENDRIX, featuring the songs: NEED YOUR LOVE SO BAD and LITTLE WING.

 

**IMPORTANT NOTE: This workshop is for players who are 18 or over

 

You will be based in OIL, with fellow guitar players and a full live band to support you.

  • Workshop starts at 2.00pm
  • We spend the morning learning featured tracks and techniques
  • Break for something to eat at 5.00pm
  • You can order a pizza in advance, or on the day
  • Back at it by 6.00pm
  • The band arrives and we jam til dawn…(not really!)
  • The Evening Session will finish around 9.00pm
