Having Paul Turner and Rob Harris in the house was just about as good as it gets!

A wonderful week of funky fun with two of the industry’s good guys. We had a great group of guitarists AND bass players in Italy. The guys spent the week bringing the guitarists and the bassists together to focus on how each instrument interacts with the other. Then there were instrument-specific sessions too, with Rob demonstrating the essential nature of rhythm guitar. Meanwhile Paul took the bassists through different approaches to delivering the low end!

The now famous Thursday night gig was a triumph of funky tunes and beautifully delivered songs. We were even treated to a rap track, written during the week and performed with style.

All in all, this is what Guitar Breaks is all about: Great pro tutors, positive and engaged guest students, in beautiful surroundings, all glued together by wonderful food courtesy of the team at the Villa Pia Hotel.
