We are hugely excited to announce an exclusive workshop with this award-winning blues rock guitarist. Accolades including ‘Best New Guitarist’, ‘Best Blues Guitarist’ and ‘Best Pop Guitarist’ just touch the surface of Chris’ talents and ability!

Running from the 9th to the 15th June 2024 (*guests should plan to arrive on the 9th and depart on the 15th), we will be in Lippiano, Italy, for our very special 5 day residential guitar workshop.

The Workshop

Chris Buck’s Italian Adventure will focus on emotive soloing techniques, developing your tone, telling a story with your solos, commanding the fretboard and taking a creative approach to your solo and rhythm playing. You will spend time looking at iconic influences and generally getting under the skin of Chris’ playing, writing and performing.

Guitar Breaks is your opportunity to spend a week in beautiful surroundings; learning, jamming and hanging with some of today’s greatest guitarists.

All Inclusive

All payments include your accommodation, meals and drinks at the hotel, 5 days of specialist workshops and sessions. Check the drop down menu for options and choose how you want to attend the workshop.

Depending on where you are travelling from, you can use any of the airlines below:

Once in Italy, you have three choices:

  1. You can hire a car. You can  do this through the usual routes.
  2. You can travel by train* to Arezzo (there is a taxi company directly outside the station, or we can arrange a pick you up from here, as required). We recommend you book in advance with Trenitalia: https://www.trenitalia.com/en.html
  3. You can pre-arrange to be collected by private taxi from the airport (subject to availability and number of guests being collected). This is a very limited service running from Florence Airport only (depending on the number of guests).  Please contact us for more details:  enquiries@guitar-breaks.com

* IMPORTANT – TRAIN TICKETS: If you do buy train tickets at a station you must remember to validate your tickets by stamping them using the stamping machines. These are usually located around the train station and on the platform. If you do not stamp your tickets, you may receive a fine from the ticket inspector! (If you have booked in advance on the internet and printed off your tickets at home, you will not need to validate them at the station).

We have a guide on flying to us with your guitar here.
