Jimi Hendrix Day With Mike Bradley

Spend the day getting inside the key techniques that can add some ‘Hendrix’ to your playing with our special guest, Mike Bradley.

We all love a bit of Hendrix, right? However for many guitarists trying to replicate some of those inspiring rhythm and lead techniques can be a bit of a mystery.

But no more!

On this special one day workshop, Mike Bradley will be deep diving into the techniques, chord voicings and lead elements that are central to Jimi’s sound, giving you the chance to add some Hendrix to your playing.

Mike told us “When I was a kid, I was always amazed at Jimi Hendrix rhythm playing, and always wondered how he did it. I now know, and can’t wait to share it with you.”

Topics covered during this workshop day include:

🔹 Using the CAGED system with our Pentatonic scales
🔹 Adding colour tones to our “standard” chords
🔹 Having fun with Double stops
🔹 Getting THAT tone and feel to your playing

Jimi Hendrix Day – The Detail:

Jimi Hendrix Day is on Sunday 27th JULY 2025. A full day of learning and jamming with Mike Bradley.

The workshop focuses on classic techniques and tracks from Jimi Hendrix. You will be based in our own custom built studio, with fellow guitar players.

🔹 Workshop starts at 10am
🔹 We spend the morning deep diving into the featured tracks and techniques
🔹 Break for a packed lunch (bring your own) at 1.00pm
🔹 Back at it by 2.00pm
🔹 Day will finish around 4.30pm

Milk Shed Studios is our own custom space where we can make as much noise as we want! There is a full backline of guitar amplifiers, including Victory Amps, Cornell, Fender, BOSS and Marshall. We also have dedicated pedal boards: One is fully sponsored by our friends at Mad Professor. The others are jam backed with pedals by BOSS, Carl Martin, Morley, Mythos, Jim Dunlop, etc. etc.

The Milk Shed also includes Trace Elliott bass amplification, a full Sonor drum kit, and a vocal PA system.
